Some players have reported instances of dynamic pricing for XBOX Game Pass.
We already saw PlayStation testing out dynamic pricing earlier this year; however, that wasn’t for the PS Plus subscription, but for wildly different discounts on certain titles. XBOX seems to be exploring a different route, offering lowered prices to attract users to a Game Pass subscription. Several players have revealed different price points they have been offered.
XBOX Game Pass Seemingly Testing Dynamic Prices for Certain Users
A post on the r/XboxGamePass subreddit by user synthlov3r (via TheGamer) reveals the XBOX Game Pass dynamic price offering. The user revealed that they were offered a price of $16.09 per month for 12 months, then it reverts to $22.99 per month. Several users in the comment section revealed they were also offered different monthly prices, similar to the op, including $18/month and $20/month.

The user also provided players with some context, revealing that they are based in the United States and have been on and off Game Pass for almost 2 years. The user revealed that they had been off the subscription for almost a month and were debating whether to get back on it. Once they entered the Game Pass page, they were offered this price.
Players should note that this isn’t a changed subscription price; the offer only applies to the first 12 months and then reverts to the original pricing. However, they received all the benefits of Game Pass Ultimate, which include over 500 PC, console, and more games; new Day One releases; Fortnite Crew; EA Play & Ubisoft+ Classics; cloud playtime of 15 hours per month; in-game benefits; and online console multiplayer.
