A third-person 3D bullfighting simulator, this one puts you in the boots of an aspiring matador and challenges you to work your way towards becoming a star.

From Rookie to Ring Legend
Toro 2’s Career Mode gives you the chance to create your own bullfighting journey. What starts in the pasture eventually takes you towards some of the world’s biggest bullrings, including the Maestranza in Seville, Las Ventas in Madrid and La Macarena in Medellín.
Success means mastering an assortment of passes and movements while keeping your timing just right. The better you perform, the more your reputation grows, with points and challenges providing another reason to keep refining your technique.
Your matador is yours to customise, too. Choose your outfit, select your preferred moves and build a style that suits the way you want to approach each encounter. Because if you’re going to stare down a charging bull, you might as well look the part.
Every Bull Wants To Ruin Your Day
The obvious problem with bullfighting is the bull. Toro 2 makes avoiding its fury a central part of the challenge, asking players to combine elegance and timing while attempting to rack up the highest score possible.
Different challenges will test your abilities as you progress, with the ultimate goal of becoming a Master of the bullring. It’s all about making the crowd cheer without giving them the opportunity to watch you become part of the scenery.
And should the Career Mode sound like too much responsibility, Toro 2 also introduces a new Versus Mode. Here, two players can face off locally, with one taking control of the matador and the other becoming the bull. That turns the traditional premise on its head, creating a one-on-one battle between the finesse of the matador and the brute force of the beast.
Matches take place across bullrings around the world, giving friends the chance to settle the age-old question: who would actually win if one person had a cape and the other was a very, very angry bull?
Step Into The Bullring
Toro 2 certainly isn’t your everyday sports simulator, but that’s part of the appeal. Rather than chasing another familiar ball, puck or racing wheel, Recotechnology is heading into considerably more unusual territory.
With its career progression, customisable matador, collection of moves and new local Versus Mode, there’s plenty here for anyone curious about experiencing bullfighting from both sides of the ring.
Just remember – confidence is important, timing is everything and running directly into the bull probably isn’t part of the master plan.
