Now available for £4.99, this compact pixel-art adventure puts you in control of a brave dinosaur on a mission to rescue the eggs of its species before it’s too late.

Dino Odyssey is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Xbox Play Anywhere support. It’s also available on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

One Dinosaur, 50 Levels And A Lot Of Eggs

Extinction is looming, and your dinosaur needs to find and rescue its species’ eggs so a new generation can survive. That means running, jumping and using your wits to navigate a dangerous prehistoric world. There are 50 levels to work through, spread across three different biomes, with more than 20 unique mechanics adding variety to the journey.

Every rescued egg represents another small victory for your endangered species.

Much like other Ratalaika Games titles, Dino Odyssey keeps its presentation suitably old-school, using handcrafted pixel art alongside a retro soundtrack. It’s all pretty straightforward too – you’re a dinosaur, the eggs need rescuing and extinction is very much on the table.

Can You Save The Species?

At £4.99, Dino Odyssey looks like another bite-sized Ratalaika Games adventure for players after something inexpensive and straightforward.

With 50 levels, three biomes and plenty of mechanics to learn along the way, there should be enough here to keep this particular dinosaur busy. The future of an entire species is resting on one pair of claws. No pressure, then.

You’ll find Dino Odyssey on the Xbox Store for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Play Anywhere. A PlayStation version is also available, as is one for Nintendo Switch.
