Call of Duty Fans on Xbox Set to Receive a Unique Modern Warfare 4

Activision have announced a special pre-order bonus for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4, and if you’re on Xbox, you’ll be able to celebrate 25 years of the platform in style.

Per the Call of Duty blog, players that pre-order Modern Warfare 4 digitally will unlock the “Inner Circuit M4 Weapon Blueprint”. If you’re doing that on Xbox, the gun will be tricked out with the translucent Green seen with the recent Xbox Series X25 console.

Designed as a tribute to 25 years of XBOX, the Inner Circuit Blueprint takes cues from classic translucent Xbox hardware. Its transparent green finish exposes the weapon’s internal systems, turning the technology beneath the surface into part of the visual identity.

Don’t worry if you’re not on Xbox, you still get the gun, but it’ll be a more standardised version in terms of visuals, with a mil-spec look on all other platforms. Whichever way it ends up looking visually, it’s built with the same setup across the board.

The Inner Circuit is built for players who prefer to stay mobile and take fights at mid and close range, or as a viable weapon to pair with a sniper loadout. The short barrel and retractable stock improve handling and movement, while the FTAC Dominion helps manage recoil during sustained fire. Close the distance, keep your shots on target, and make the most of this compact M4 build.

11.5″ Shortline Barrel:A light-profile short barrel that improves handling and mobility at the cost of recoil control and effective range.

FTAC Dominion Muzzle:A balanced compensator designed to expel gasses, reducing vertical and horizontal recoil.

FSS Fireline Grip:Low-profile angled grip that settles firing into a steadier track. Forward posture slows snap to sights.

SZ Prima-4 Dot Optic: A slim dot optic that provides a clear sight picture.

ZLR ASP50 Stock: A retractable combat stock from ZLR designed to reduce weight and improve speed and mobility

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Battle.net, Xbox PC and Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2 on Friday, October 23rd, 2026. 

And don’t forget – this years game is not launching on Xbox Game Pass.
