The Xbox Insiders blog has detailed the latest changes coming to Xbox Series consoles, including 1440p Remote Play streaming, the ability to choose your boot-up animation, and more.

October Bound

The October update for Xbox consoles has been detailed on the Xbox Insiders blog. The key feature additions are:

• 1440p Remote Play Streaming at a higher bitrate
• Ability to Choose Boot-Up Animation
• Badge Feature on Profile
• Local Search For Achievements
• Background Downloads during Cloud Streaming
• Built-in Microphone Noise Suppression
• ‘Party Reliability and Security Updates’

It’s a fairly large list, with the most requested addition being improved remote play quality. After Xbox’s decision to lower the number of hours Game Pass users can play on the cloud from infinite to 15 or less each month.
